Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of the afforestation studies on the soil properties in the Murgul Copper Factory. For this purpose, in July 2017, 3 trial areas were selected for planting and non-planting areas with sunny and shaded aspect. Soil samples were taken from 0-15 cm depth step with a total of 3 replicates from 18 test areas. Texture, pH, organic matter, total nitrogen, nitrogen mineralization and heavy metals cadmium, lead, copper, zinc and chromium analyzes were performed in the soil samples. As a result of the study, it was determined that sand, pH, total nitrogen, nitrate and total nitrogen mineralization and copper and chromium values increased with the afforestation studies while a decrease in clay organic matter, ammonium mineralization and cadmium, lead and zinc values were determined. The effect of aspect differences in changes in soil characteristics has been significant. The results showed the availability of species such as Robinia pceudoacacia and alder, which provided rapid support for soil healing for the improvement of mine sites.
