Examination of the attitues of the students who are studying in middle school in physical education and sports lessons in the province of muş and surrounding provinces in terms of sports and different variables

The purpose of this research; is to investigate the relationship between attitude levels of physical education lesson and sport and different variables of students in secondary schools in Muş Province and its districts in 2015-2016 educational year . Secondary school students studying in Muş Province form the universe of this research and the sample of the research consists of a total of 766 students, 382 women and 384 men participating voluntarily in the study of the secondary schools in the province of Muş and its districts. In our study, the Physical Education Class Attitude Scale by applying 600 students and developed by Güllü ve Güçlü (2009) was used. In the analysis of the data, frequency and percentage distribution were used in determining demographic characteristics, the Independent Samples T test was used to examine the relationship between two independent variables and Anova Warians analysis tests were used to examine the relationship between two variables. The relationship between the variables was interpreted on the basis of p0.05 significance level. According to the findings, it was found that there was a significant difference between the attitudes of the students towards Physical Education and Sports lesson and the situations of Maternal Employment Status, Father Jobs, Class Levels, Sports Activities in Non - School Leisure Time and Students' Sports Activities in Club. In order to ensure that the students participate more effectively in physical education and sports lessons in the learning process, different types of studies may be carried out that extend the scope and nature of the variables that cause differentiation in the attitudes of the students.
