Abstract (EN)
In this study, ethnobotanical research was carried out to determine the plants that naturally spread in Muş Central District and its connected villages, benefited by the people and have a place in their traditional life. For this purpose, between September 2019 and July 2021, the center of Mus and 83 villages and 9 hamlets connected to the center were visited and visited. During the research, 280 people were interviewed. As a result of the interviews, ethnobotanical information about the plants was compiled. As a result of these reviews, 149 plant taxa belonging to 44 families and 111 genera were determined. 7 of these taxa are endemic. Ethnobotanical use of 5 of the endemic taxa was determined by us for the first time. The 7 families that contain the most taxa used by the public in research are respectively; Asteraceae were identified as 25 (37%), Rosaceae 22 (33%), Apiaceae 18 (27%), Lamiaceae 10 (15%), Polygonaceae 9 (13%), Fabaceae 8 (12%) and Amaranthaceae 4 (6%) . from 149 taxa; 87 taxa are used as food, 88 taxa are used medicinally. Of these taxa, 45 taxa are used only medicinally, 42 taxa are used only for food, and 40 taxa are used both for food and medicine. It has been determined that 9 taxa are used as goods, 5 taxa spice, 2 taxa dye, 2 taxon fodder, 1 taxon fragrance, 1 taxon ornamental, 1 taxon food-belief.
