Abstract (TR)
Bu tezin amacı MythBusters televizyon programının anlatı bileşenleri ve anlam açısından nasıl bir bilim imgesi oluşturduğunu incelemektir. MythBusters'ın bilimi çekici bir aktivite olrak gösterdiği fakat izlenen yöntemin çelişkili olduğu tartışılmaktadır. Bilim eğlenceli, yararlı ve anlaşılabilir bir olgu olarak konumlandırılırken, MythBusters bilimin objektifliği ve ataerkilliğini desteklemekte, bilimi şiddetle ilişkilendirmekte ve bilimsel merakın diğer merak türlerinden ayrımını belirsizleştirmektedir.
