Thematic analysis of Necmettin Halil Onan's poems

From the period of innovation in Turkish literature, different literary understandings have sometimes emerged simultaneously. It can be said that some artists took the leading role in the emergence of this understanding. In addition to these artists, who are also considered as the top figures, there are also artists who ensure the spread and continuity of literary understandings. These artists, as carriers, not only make literary understandings visible, but also provide important materials for the evaluations made in the history of literature. Necmettin Halil Onan is one of the poets who should take place in the history of literature with his poems reflecting the understanding of National literature during the National Struggle and the Republican periods. For this reason, examining Necmettin Halil Onan's life, understanding of art and poems will contribute to literature history studies. Thematic analysis of Necmettin Halil Onan's poems, which are the subject of our study; Apart from the Introduction and Conclusion sections, it will be examined under two main headings. The second part of our study consists of Necmettin Halil Onan's life story, works and understanding of art. In the thırd part, Necmettin Halil Onan's poems will be analyzed thematically. In the conclusion part, the results will be evaluated. In addition to these, there will be an additional part of our work. In this section, the poet's poetry book called Pebble Stones, which has not yet been translated into Latin letters, will be translated into Latin letters.
