Writing the medical almanac dated 1900 withnew letters

History of medicine is as old as humanity. One of the most important issues in Islamic civilization is human. In order to maintain the physiological and psychological health of the man, the managers built the hospitals and the physicians continued their efforts to get rid of the helpless people in the face of the diseases. In the history of Islam, the Turks, who continued their paths by physicians who signed different and important inventions and discoveries, endeavored not to stay away from modern medicine in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. One of them is Besim Ömer Pasha. Rather than investigating what is detrimental to what is detrimental to health and what is beneficial in the medical field, the information gathered by the physicians and researchers in the field (books, articles, etc.) was collected in a book for the first time in the Ottoman Empire. There are four numbers from this work which meets the world of science with the name "Nevsal-i Afiyet" or "Salname-i Tıbbî". We aimed to bring the second one of this important work, which is developing in every issue, to the reader with today's Turkish. There are interesting articles in the work.Some of the articles and statistics will help in the field of medicine in the 21st century.In this study, Besim Ömer Bey, who is a good physician and researcher, is also briefly described.
