Zero waste applications in Niğde Municipality building

Zero waste management is a waste management system aimed at preventing, reducing and re-evaluating the generated waste during the generation of waste. Zero waste term; ıt explains the need to reduce and prevent toxicity in the structure of waste and product, to preserve all our resources, ıt should be managed in a systematic way. With the zero waste application, threats to the environment and human life can be eliminated. In this thesis, the main purpose of zero waste applications; to prevent waste generation as much as possible, to collect wastes separately according to their sources and to recycle these wastes and to prevent a situation that will harm the environment. The elimination of the wastes without going through the recycling process causes the natural resources to be consumed more quickly than necessary and serious environmental and resource problems will arise in the future. For this reason, it is of utmost importance that the existing natural resources are used efficiently and in a planned manner and that the resulting wastes are recycled and re-incorporated into production.
