Problems and requiremen of primary school directors in Niğde province Central district

In this research, it has been tried to determine the problems and difficulties of the principals working in the official primary schools in the central district of Niğde province and to develop suggestions about them. In the research, it was aimed to raise awareness that the problems and difficulties of primary school principals are different from each other. In addition, suggestions for solving these problems and overcoming difficulties were tried to be presented. The research was conducted with the qualitative research method. Observation, interview and document review tools were used to collect data. The study group of the research was interviewed with 63 (sixty-three) primary school principals working in public primary schools in the central district of Niğde province in the 2020-2021 academic year. Interview question paper was applied to these people. The research was carried out on a completely voluntary basis. In the research, it has been determined that the problems and difficulties faced by primary school principals are related to the physical structure of the school, organizational structure, assistant principals, teachers, other staff, students, parents, parent-teacher association and other stakeholders of the school.
