Abstract (EN)

In this study, Black, Red Pine and Scoth Pine plantation in Tokat-Niksar region planted in 1982 investigated. The size of study area is 196 ha and this research was done 54 sample plots. The size of each sample plot is 225 and 400 square metres and there have been 64 Black Pine, Red Pine and Scoth Pine seedlings on each sample plot. Heights diameter (duo) and survival rate of the plants on the sample plots was defined. Measurements were also done on replacement planting but these datas weren't used statistical analysis. Besidesp physiographic characteristic of the sample plots like exposure, slope, altitude, soil depth, organic matter and Lime (CaCOs) were determined. In order to define edaphic factors, soil profiles were dug in the sample plots. Soil samples were taken from 0-20 cm. depth and 20- 50 cm. depth of the soil profiles. Soil reaction (PH), soil texture, organic matter and Lime (CaCC^) were determined by soil analysis. According to Analysis of Variance and Corelation, it was found that physiographic and edaphic factors like soil depth, exposure, slope, altitude, soil reaction (PH), organic matter, Lime (CaC03) and soil texture affected the height and diamater (di.30) growht of seedlings with 95 percent confidence level. It was found that only soil depth, exposure, organic matter and Lime (CaCOs) affected the survival rate of the seedlings with 95 percent confidence level. Key words: Black Pine, Red Pine, Scoth Pine, plantation, survival, edaphic and physiographic factors.
