Abstract (EN)

In recent years, nitroaromatic compounds, one of the active ingredients in wastewater, significantly affect the metabolic system of living things and the environment. Removal of these compounds from wastewater and drinking water is of great importance. In order to remove these substances from the aquatic environment, it is necessary to know the solubility values and take action accordingly. In this study, the solubility behavior of nitroaromatic compounds, which were first chosen as models for industrial wastewater, at different temperatures and different organic solvent-water mixtures was investigated. Molecular fraction solubility of 2,4-Dinitrotoluene and 4-Nitroaniline compounds were investigated in ultrasonic medium. Experimental design was made by using "surface response method" and determined optimum working conditions. Studies have increased by 90.00 % to result in mole fraction solubility rate 90.41 % for 2,4-DNT and 4-NA was observed.
