Abstract (EN)

Gypsymoth, Lymantria dispar is a polifag pest which causes economic losses on broad-leaved forest trees, ornamental plants, like cherry and plum trees and nut. Nosema lymantriae is a pathogenic microsporidium and possess the potential for biological control of forest defoliators. Temperature has a significant effect on the course of infection.In the present study, two different groupstemperature was used for determine the effect of constant fluctuant temperatures on the infection. One of them consist of 22±1C° constant and 18Cº/24±1C° fluctuant temperatures and the other one consist of again 22±1C° constant and 14Cº/26±1Cº fluctuant temperatures. Larvae were reared incubator that adjusted these constant and fluctuant temperatures at 16h light/8h dark period. Larvae were checked every day and taken note time of molting, pupation, and death. Statistical analyses were carried out with SPSS11.05 As a resultof the evaluation is determined that the infectionof N. lymantriae has 83-100% mortality on gyspy moth,the infection slow down the development of larvae, spore counting from dead infected female larvae which are reared at 22±1C° constant temperature has lower spore number than that of the larvae reared at18Cº/24±1C° fluctuant temperature (p=0,021) and there are significantly correlation between the death of day and the fresh mass of cadavers for infected larvae.
