Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of the job and life satisfaction of the notary staff working in Mersin provinces and districts according to demographic variables. The research was carried out with the relational screening method. In the study, primary data were collected using the questionnaire technique. The questionnaires were applied to a total of 121 personnel working in notary publics in Mersin. In this study, after the scales used as data collection tools were applied and collected to the participants, the data were statistically analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 package program. The data were analyzed in terms of gender, age, years of employment in the industry, marital status, educational status, and income variables. The information obtained from the Personal Information Form applied, Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS) and Life Satisfaction Scale were statistically analyzed and processed into the computer for the purpose of the research. Data were used by descriptive statistical techniques, independent groups t-test in case of bivariate, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) test in case of more than two variables. In addition, in the analysis, correlation analyzes were made between job satisfaction sub-dimensions, job satisfaction and life satisfaction, and it was examined whether there was a significant difference between frequency, average and independent variables. Finally, the effect of job satisfaction sub-dimensions on life satisfaction and demographic variables was examined with Pearson correlation analysis. When the obtained job satisfaction and life satisfaction scores were examined, the difference between the mean scale scores according to age, gender and experience in the sector was not found to be statistically significant. The difference between the mean scores of the scale according to the variable of education level and marital status was found to be statistically significant. In the research findings, it was concluded that there is a positive significant relationship between job and life satisfaction. As a result of the correlation analysis between the job satisfaction and life satisfaction of the employees, a positive, significant and strong relationship was found. It is concluded that the higher the job satisfaction of the employees, the higher their life satisfaction. No significant relationship was found between job and life satisfaction and gender and age in employees. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Life Satisfaction
