Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out in order to develop the self-efficacy scale of pre-service teachers towards individualized education program and to determine pre-service teachers' self-efficacy towards individualized education program. In order to evaluate the quantitative data of the research, the scanning method, which is among the research models frequently used in social sciences, was used. The first part of the study includes developing a 5-point Likert type scale, and the second part includes the analysis of the data obtained as a result of the application of the developed scale. The development process of the measurement tool, respectively; For content validity, it was carried out in three stages, including taking expert opinion, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. The pilot study was carried out to 356 teacher candidates who were in the classroom education, science education, guidance and psychological counseling, social studies education and computer and instructional technologies education in Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Faculty of Education. In order to reveal the factor structure of the scale, SPSS and AMOS package program were used in the analysis of the data. It was determined that the scale consists of 36 items and 3 sub-dimensions. These sub-dimensions are named as "IEP implementation and evaluation", "IEP preparation stage" and "IEP information". It was seen that the reliability coefficients calculated by performing Cronbach Alpha, Guttman Split-Half and Spearman-Brown tests were higher than .70 for all sub dimensions. Confirmatory factor analysis was performed with the help of the AMOS program and well-being fit indices confirmed the 3-factor and 36-item structure. The final form of the developed scale was applied to a total of 345 teacher candidates studying in the last year of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University and Aksaray University Faculty of Education. The analysis of the data obtained as a result of this application was analyzed with the SPSS program. In the study, a statistically significant difference was found between the total scores of the teacher candidates in the self-efficacy determination scale for the IEP and the scores of the departments they study at the university.
