Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of School Experience and Teaching Practice courses which aim to give pre-service teachers professional skills and experiences. Sample survey includes 225 prospective teachers who have studied in faculty of education of Giresun University in spring semester of 2013-14. Scanning method is used in this survey. As a data collection tool, a test including 57 items is formed. For the statistical analyses of the data the following tests are used: simple correlation, arithmetic average, manova, anova, frequencies and percentages. According to the results, the School Experience and Teaching Practice courses have positive correlation in high value of (,592). Furthermore, when we examined the findings of the survey, prospective teachers give importance school experience and teaching practice courses but the duration of these courses are inadequate for them in implementation. In this study it is tried to demonstrate how it could be more effective the courses which will be applied in the years ahead.
