Investigation of business skills and qualifications in use of basic technology according to teacher's features

Technology is defined as a fast-developing process that develops, changes and in some cases transforms the environment in which people live, in a target-oriented manner, in order to meet the needs and desires of people. These rapid changes are preparing the environment for many individual and organizational-based things to change or reshape. Employees should be sensitive to technological developments and follow them closely in order to fulfill their existing jobs in organizations. The concept of job resourcefulness, which has been brought to the literature as a result of these developments, aims to regulate the relations of employees with others in the workplace and to shape their jobs according to their own personality traits. Employees' adaptation of work-related applications according to their interests and needs can also be accomplished by running an informal process without the knowledge of the organization, except for certain situations and requirements. Employees who engage in work resourcefulness can thus increase the harmony between the characteristics of the job and their own needs and abilities, as well as get rid of the monotony of the work to some extent. The concept of job resourcefulness is examined under three headings in this study. These are: task, cognitive, and relational resourcefulness. Task resourcefulness, changing the effort employees put in doing the job required of them; cognitive resourcefulness, perceiving the meaning and purpose of their duties and relationships with other employees, and making sense of this in the employee's own mind; Relational resourcefulness, on the other hand, is explained as changing the way and amount of interaction with other individuals in the organization. In researches on job resourcefulness, it has been observed that productivity increases, employees are happier, and there are fewer turnovers in organizations where job resourcefulness behavior is exhibited. This study was conducted to reveal whether there is a relationship between the job resourcefulness behaviors of teachers working in the public sector and their basic technology use competencies. Our research consists of three parts. In the first part, the concept of job resourcefulness and the concepts that are effective in the formation of this concept are mentioned. In the second part, the concept and scope of basic technology use competencies are mentioned. In the third part, the research method, analysis, findings, discussion and conclusion are given. The universe of the study consists of teachers working in the public sector, while the sample consists of 416 teachers actively working in Kırşehir. In the research, the data were sent to the participants in the form of an online form with the survey method. Likert Type Scale was used in the questionnaire form. The question options in the scales (Strongly Disagree-Disagree-Undecided-Agree-Strongly Agree) were ordered from negative answers to positive answers. The prepared questionnaire consists of 47 questions and 3 parts. In the first part, questions about demographic data to the participants; in the second part, their tendency to show work resourcefulness behavior; In the third part, questions about technology use proficiency were asked. The data obtained from the participants with the forms sent online were tested by using SPSS 22 and Jamovi programs. As a result of the analysis, a low level of statistically positive correlation was found between job resourcefulness and basic technology use proficiency.
