According to teachers; the relationship between school heads' technological leadership behaviors and their technology use qualifications in learning environments

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the technological leadership behaviors of school administrators and the technology use competencies of teachers in learning environments according to teachers. The present study employed quantitative research methods with a correlational research design. The research population consists of 851 teachers that work in state and private Anatolian high schools affiliated with the Kartal District Directorate of National Education in Istanbul in the spring semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. The sample of the research was selected by simple random sampling method, and 226 questionnaire forms were filled out by teachers voluntarily. "School Principal Technological Leadership Behavior Scale" and & "Determining Teachers' Educational Technology Levels Scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. Technology Levels Scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 program. One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), t-test, Multivarite Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) and scheffe analysis techniques were implemented for the analysis. The results show that school administrators exhibit technological leadership behaviors at a high level for the teachers' use of technology. According to the teachers, the technological leadership behaviors of school administrators have similar average values in the support, infrastructure, motivation, and legal sub-dimensions. They consider the legal dimension to be sufficient with the highest value. Also, it has been found that the teachers& proficiency levels for using technology in the learning environment are at a high level. However, the results show that the average technology literacy score is significantly lower in both technology integration into lessons and the averages of social ethics and legal provisions.
