The relationship between teachers' perceptions of organizational justice and their motivation levels

The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between organizational justice perceptions and motivation levels of teachers working in Aksaray province and to reveal how this relationship shows a structure in terms of the sub-dimensions of the two variables. The population of this study, which was conducted using quantitative method and in line with the relational screening model, consists of teachers working in public secondary schools in Aksaray center during the 2023-2024 academic year. "Personal Information Form", 'Organizational Justice Scale' (Polat, 2007) and 'Teacher Motivation Scale' (Uçar, 2015) were used for data collection. SPSS 22 software was preferred for data analysis, and nonparametric analysis methods were applied since the data were not normally distributed. According to the findings of the study, teachers' perceptions of organizational justice and motivation are above average. Perceptions of organizational justice and motivation do not show a significant difference according to education level, professional experience, time spent at school and branches. However, significant differences were found in both organizational justice and intrinsic motivation sub-dimensions according to age and gender factors. Relationships between organizational justice and teacher motivation were examined through Spearman RHO correlation analysis and a moderate positive relationship which was found. In this context, school administrators in decision-making and implementation processes will positively affect teachers' motivation levels ın the name of developing justice in organization.
