Abstract (EN)
Literary text are inseparable from the artist. Because they were created by the artist; they are the only part wich carry the traces of his/her thoght and imaginary world. Literature and psychology are two separate sciences that are fed on each other in that they are about human. In the 20 th century, the psychoanalysis, created by Freud and also a psychotherapy method, searches the traces of the artist's spirit world through literary texts. Psychhoanalysis advocates that sometimes human behaviors are behind the scenes, and sometimes it is unconscious processes that he/ she is not aware of. Psychoanalysts are more concerned with the subconscious of the individual, they have argued that behavior of the individual is often directed by the subconscious. Psychoanalysts link the heroes of the artist with the psychology. Oğuz Atay who has been keeping his works since 1970's, glues a wide view to the inner world of the individual. He uses subconscious techniques a lot. So the works of Oğuz Atay are quite suitable to be examined from a psychonalytic point of view. In this study, novels and stories of Oğuz Atay's were examined from a psychoanalytical point of view. The work of many psychoanalysts, especially Freud, was utilized.
