Opinions of principals of anatolian high schools and public high schools,teachers and parent-school partnership managers about Administrative Functions of the the Parents-school partnership.( Islahiye example)

This research was designed to evaluate Administrative Functions of the the Parents-school partnership in Anatolian high schools and Public high schools. This is a descriptive study. The participants of the study are all school principals, vice principals, PSP presidents and all the teachers working in Anatolian and Public high schools in Gaziantep Islahiye in the academic year 2012-2013. As a means of data collection,47 questions are prepared according to 6th regulation of Parent-School Partnership. Experts were consulted for the validity of the scope. The validity and reliability of the scope was carried out by means of data. The questionnaire used a Likert-type rating, a total of 121 subjects were applied. SPSS statistical software was used to analyze the data obtained from surveys. Factor analysis and descriptive statistics were applied to the data obtained from the survey ,number (frequency), percentage, arithmetic medial and standard deviation were used as statistical techniques. According to research findings, the school principals, vice principals, PSP presidents and teachers found managerial functions adequate in medium level.There were different opinions among school principals, vice principals,PSP presidents and the teachers about administrative functions of the PSP regarding the objective, protection, communication dimensions and on the whole scale. However,There wasn't significant difference of opinion about support, cooperation,encourage and reward . Deficiencies were identified related to school-family collaboration and communication, these deficiencies have been revealed on the basis of the views of participants and in order to ensure effective relationship between the school and the family necessary suggestions have been made.
