Investigation of school administrators and teachers 'views on the education of students with speech and language disorders

The role of the teacher and the administrators is very important in the realization of learning in an educational institution where there is a language and speech impaired student. Considering the effect of this situation on the learning of children, the study of "Investigation of School Administrators and Teachers' Views on the Education of Students with Speech and Language Disorders" was needed. The aim of this research is to examine the opinions of school administrators and teachers about the education of students with language and speech disorders. For this purpose, the opinions, knowledge and practices of school administrators and teachers about students with language and speech disorders and the education and training that can be given to these students are discussed within the scope of this thesis. This study is important in terms of revealing the scientific findings related to the education of students with language and speech disorders along with the opinions of the school administrators and teachers, and increasing the awareness of the teachers and planning the services to be performed in this field. It is thought that it will contribute to bringing various suggestions that will help students' views on education. This study, which examines the opinions of school administrators and teachers about the education of students with language and speech disorders, was applied to 131 education managers and teachers working in 12 schools selected from the official primary schools of Kadıköy district of Istanbul. As a result of the research, the opinions of education administrators and teachers; It was concluded that the variables of gender and professional seniority, and the type of education received on language and speech disorders differ according to the variable.
