Determination of the perceptions of the school administrators on the application of mandatory change of service place based on the service year

This study is intended for the determination of the perceptions of the school administrators serving within the boundaries of Kadıköy Township of Istanbul Province on the application of mandatory change of service place based on the service year. The sample group of this study is made up of 77 administrators serving in Kadıköy Township of Istanbul Province for the Training and Education Year of 2012-2013. For the purpose of collecting data, ?The questionnaire for the determination of the perceptions of the school administrators on the application of mandatory change of service place based on the service year? has been used in this research. Within the scope of the research, it was reviewed to what extent the school administrators agree on the propositions presented in the questionnaire and if the demographic properties of the school administrators create differentiations on their attitudes about the application of mandatory change of service place. The data obtained in this research were analyzed by using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) program. When comparing the quantitative data, Mann Whitney U-test was used to compare the difference between two groups and in case of more than two groups, Kruskal Wallis H-Test was used to make an intergroup comparison of the parameters. In this research, it was reviewed whether the perceptions of the school administrators on the criteria given in the appointment form show differences according to their demographic properties as well as the differences between the perceptions of the school administrators on the application of mandatory change of service place based on the service year and their personal characteristics.
