Abstract (EN)
This research has been performed to in order to identify aspects of female teachers in primary schools to management positions and also to reveal the reasons of the small number of female principals compared to male principals. The sampling of the study was formed by 103 female teachers working for 10 goverment primary schools, in the province of Istanbul, county of Kucukcekmece in 2012-2013. Out of 103 managers , 94 of them are teachers, 5 of them are vice presidents and 4 of them are school principals Key Words: Female, Management, Education-enrolled women, Management positions, Woman, Career
