The aim of this research is to search whether the preventive guidance activities which are about the injurious habits, take part in education activities and to search whether this research is seen necessary in terms of the director, the student, and the teacher. The research group consists of 195 primary school students in Trabzon, who are at different age and class, and also 199 teachers from different schools and branches who are at different age. Data collcetion tool which used in this research is consist of "Manner Inventory for Finding Injurious Habits" improved by researcher. Descriptive statistic techniques were used in this research. In this research, it was determined that whether the giving information to prevent injurious habits orientate people to these habits and whether this point of view varied at different status. As a result, when the teachers' and the students' ideas take into account, the preventive guidance activities are applied at schools. According to the findings, the students and the teachers think that the guidance activities are applied at medium level; the directors think they are applied at high level. When the difference between the status and whether the giving information to prevent injurious habits orientate people to these habits is observed, meaningful statistical results are obtained. Students- in proportion to teachers- think that giving information to prevent injurious habits orientate people to these habits mainly. IX
