Abstract (EN)

This study aims to determine the relationship between preschool teachers' professional motivation and technology use. It also aims to investigate whether preschool teachers' physical conditions, in-school and out-of-school motivational factors, and technology use differ. In the data collection process of the research, two different instruments were used: the "Teacher Professional Motivation Scale" developed by Taş et al. (2020) and the "Attitude Scale Towards the Use of Technological Tools and Equipment in Preschool Education" prepared by Kol (2012). All preschool teachers (N:181) working in Artvin province in the 2024-2025 academic year were reached. Normality analysis and correlation analysis were applied to the data. The findings revealed a relationship between preschool teachers' technology use proficiency, the school's physical environment, and their professional motivation for technology use. However, no significant relationship was found between professional motivation and technology use. It was concluded that technology use was frequent, and motivation was positive. Teachers' use of technology can be increased through in-service training and strengthening school technology infrastructure.
