Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was investigated whether personality has a mediating role in the relationship between attitudes towards death and sources of spirituality. This study was carried out with a total of 402 participants, 241 women and 161 men who are continuing their undergraduate education at universities. Demographic Information Form, Death Attitude Profile-Revised Scale, Sources of Spirituality Scale and Adjective-Based Personality Scale were administered to the participants. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, it was determined that there were significant relationships between attitudes towards death, sources of spirituality and personality. It has been found that personality and sources of spirituality have predictive effects on attitudes towards death. In this study, it was determined that sub-dimensions of personality (openness to experience, conscientiousness, agreeableness, extraversion, neuroticism) had no mediating effect on the relationship between attitudes towards death and sources of spirituality.
