Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment levels on absenteeism and intention to quit. A questionnaire was applied to 170 employees of the Ministry of Health Communication Center (SABİM). In the analysis of the data obtained as a result of the application, the effects of independent variables on the dependent variable; In addition, Independent Sample T-Test and One Way Variance (ANOVA) test were used to compare the mean scores of the different groups. In the study, correlation and regression analysis which revealed the direction of the relationships between the dimensions of the scale expressions with each other were included. As a result of the research, it was found that there is a significant relationship between the organizational commitment levels of the participants and the intention of absenteeism and quitting. It was also observed that there was no significant difference between the organizational commitment levels of the participants and gender, age, education level, working time, duty and salary variables. While there was no significant difference between the absenteeism levels of the participants and gender, age, education level, salary and duty, there was a significant difference between the duration of the study. While there was no significant difference between the participants' intention to quit and gender, educational status and working time, a significant difference was found between educational duty, age and salary variable.
