Abstract (EN)
This study aims to determine conflict types which cause organizational goals notto be performed, resolve at the proper time and mention the conflict results beingfunctional or disfunctional on organizational effects. Conflict is a global phenomenonand it is impossible to be avoided in any environment where human beings and otherbeings exist. Actually, the society which conflict does not exist is unhealthy and thesesocieties are not open to development and innovation. If conflict is unavoidable, thenecessary step to take is to use conflict results as an advantage and opportunity toprevent its destructive results. One of the requirements of contemporary managementapproach is to manage conflict effectively. One of the important skills of contemporarymanagement approach is to determine the destructive results of conflict take precautionsat the right time and transform it to opportunity.According to this context, this thesis aims to examine the conflict types inorganizations and their reasons, in light of these information existing or potentialconflicts resolving methods degraded to the concrete situation by the help of someexemplary cases.Key Words: Conflict, Conflict Management, Constructive and Destructive Effectsof Conflict
