The regulatory role of perceived organizational support in the impact of organizational pride on innovative behavior

Organizations' perception of innovative behavior as one of the significant factors affecting competitive performance and positioning it as a model of behavior that is desired to be acted by employees has made it a concept that has been studied in recent years in academic studies in relation to many variables. Nevertheless, although there are numerous studies in the literature trying to identify the predecessors of innovative behaviors, there are still gaps in order to fully understand the nature of these behaviors. The aim of the study in this direction is to determine the regulatory role of perceived organizational support in the impact of organizational pride on innovative behavior. A 45-item questionnaire determined as a result of literature survey was prepared to determine participants' views in this study, which was formed by 1078 blue-collar workers working in the food, packaging, health, services, energy and logistics sectors, whose sample is located in Gaziantep Organized Industrial Zone. As the latest version SmartPLS 4 program was used for the measurement of collected data and statistical analysis of structural models, relationships in the research model were tested using the bootstrapping resampling method. Additionally, in the analysis, 5000 sub-samples were used, which were randomly selected by displacement from the raw data determined by the algorithm itself. In conclusion of these analyses, it is determined that the hypothesis of the influence of organizational pride on innovative behavior is validated, yet organizational support does not have a regulatory role in this relationship.
