Abstract (EN)
The concept of organizational cynicism expresses the suspicious and insecure attitude of employees towards their organizations. Individuals think that the management and other employees act entirely in their own interests therefore there is no fair, trustworthy and honest environment within the organization. This situation can cause both mental and accordingly physiological for individuals. From the point of view of the organization, there may be consequences such as a decrease in organizational commitment, job satisfaction, trust in the organization, and a lack of organizational citizenship behavior. The concept of organizational commitment expresses the strength of the commitment that individuals feel towards their organizations. Organizational commitment has a great impact on the efficient and effective working of organizations. For this reason, organizations give importance to the issue of commitment and make regulations in this regard. Organizational commitment, which affects the productivity of organizations and the performance of employees, is affectes by the cynical attitude in the organization. The main question of our research is "Is there a relationship between organizational cynicism and organizational commitment." For this reason, in our research, whether there is a relationship between the concept of organizational cynicism and organizational commitment has been tried to be measured with a research on primary and secondary school teachers working in Hopa district of Artvin province. The environment in which the personnel in educational institutions, which is seen as the precursor of social development, are located in terms of the education they will provide, their perspectives on the institution and their colleagues, and their belonging to the institution are important in terms of the education provided. For this reason, schools were selected as a sample in terms of the study subject. The sample was limited by including primary and secondary school teachers in the research. Within the scope of the research, 185 teachers completed questionnaires and 176 suitable questionnaires were included in the research. Before the survey application, permission was obtained from the District Directorate of National Education with the approval of the district Governorship. In the first and second part, the literature was reviewed about organizational cynicism and organizational commitment. In the third part, the methodology of the research was explained, and in the fourth part, the findings of the research were given. In the conclusion section, the results of the analysis were evaluated comparatively with the studies in the literature and discussed the results based before studies. Also, while the organizational commitment levels of teachers differ by gender, they do not differ by age, marital status and seniority. On the other hand, while the organizational cynicism levels of teachers do not differ by gender, they differ by age, marital status and seniority.
