The aim of this study is to research the changes between the tendency to violence and aggression of secondary school single-parent students before 12-week sports activities and their tendency to violence and aggresssion after sports activities. The population of the study constitutes the students in secondary schools in Afyonkarahisar in 2015-2016 educational year. The sample constitutes the 109 single-parent students chosen from the population. In this study, data collection tools are Personal Information Form developed by the researcher, Violence Inventory developed by İpek İlter (Kiper 1984), Violence Tendency Scale developed by Göka, Bayat and Türkçapar (1995), applied to the sample of this study simultaneously. In the statistical analysis, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is used. As it is found out p>0.05 after this test, parametric statistical tecnhiques are used to analyse the data. To analyze the data and present statistical data, a crosstab displaying multivariate frequency distribution and percent distribution is used. To compare the situations of before-study and after-study, a paired sample t test is used. Finally, it is found out meaningful difference in the levels of tendency to aggression and violence after the 12-week sports activities done by single-parent students.
