Abstract (EN)
In recent years, the traditional interconnected electricity network, where electricity is produced in power plants, which are large power generation plants, is transferred to consumption units through transmission lines. In this change, there is an increase in electricity consumption with the increase of population, development of cities, the production of energy in local small-scale production units, traditional or renewable, diversification of energy production methods, and increase in electrical technologies such as mobile phones and electric vehicles. As a result of the convergence of production and consumption points, line losses and costs are reduced, energy quality increases and power cuts to a minimum, development of storage technologies and global warming are effective. All these factors led to the production and consumption of electrical energy. This requires that the traditional interconnected electricity grid be planned to take into account reproduction, consumption and and storage potentials in the form of microgrid. Due to the advancement in technology, the need for structuring and planning of a more reliable and fault-tolerant electricity grid has increased. In this study, microgrid approach, which is seen as the network model of the future, is provided if distributed production resources that are more efficient than the big power plants and that are possible to be installed close to the consumer are installed to minimize power outages. When the microgrids are connected to a large-scale electricity grid, a number of adjacent microgrid installations in a given region will form a multi-microgrid system. In the transition from microgrids to smart grids, planning of multi-microgrids will be an important transition point. Efficient operation of MMGs can be realized by planning cities in accordance with MMG structure. Since small, medium and large cities will have different structures such as education, housing, industry and office, planning can be handled separately. Structures such as electricity consumption values, AC/DC transmission type and storage units, distributed energy production sources, education, housing, industry are the basic parameters used in MMG planning. In this study, by using these parameters used in the planning of MMG structuring, a model for medium-sized cities has been tried to be put forward. For this purpose, Kırşehir was selected as a pilot province. The study is expected to provide a model for other medium-sized cities.
