The importance of information and applications of information management is increasing as it is getting harder to keep up with the pace of the change nowadays. Like all the other organizations, schools also need to manage the information effectively in order to be able to subsistence and realize their goals. Information management has to be planned as an organizational process and progressively developed. This process, just as in any kind of contemporary organization, has made process management a must for schools. In this study, It has been aimed to evaluate the principals' qualification level of information manament's application with the viewpoint of the teachers. To that end, it has been surveyed if there is a significant difference between teachers' and school managers'views related to the skills of using information management and factors of the survey which is gender, duty type, age, major, working hours, and school type. To gain data of the survey, a questionnaire having 44 items quintet Likert has been used. Data of the survey has been analysed using SPSS package programme, and realibility gap has been taken as p<0,005. In the survey, a significant difference has been identified between the factors of teachers' major and school type. Furthermore, a significant difference hasn't been identified between gender, duty type, age, and working hours. Finally; under the light of the data, suggestions have been made intended for the survey and its results. Key Words: Knowledge , kinds of knowledge , knowledge management, knowledge managers.
