This research aims to determine the facts that have an effect on the image of public high schools and to examine the perception of teachers regarding the schools they are working. In this context, it was conducted a literature search regarding the perception of teachers concerning their schools in Tarsus district of Mersin, and participant opinions described by the tool "Public Schools Image (Manager and Teacher Questionnaire)". For this purpose, a sample of 306 people (consisting 256 teachers and 50 managers) attended the questionnaire and their responses were analyzed in SPSS 20 statistics program. The measurement scale consists 47 subjects, 7 subspaces. These subspaces are "Emotional Attraction", "Social Responsibility", "Quality of Workspace", "Quality of Management", "Quality of Service", "Quality of Financial Strenght" and "Quality of Physical Environment and Infrastructure". It was found statistically significant differences in seven subspaces when corporate image spaces differences were analyzed with respect to task types and it was found that, in all subspaces, managers are more optimist comparing to teachers. When the corporate image spaces were analyzed with respect to gender, it was found statistically significant differences in 6 spaces and 1 statistically insignificant difference in the other. In the spaces where there are statistically significant differences, it is found that males are more optimist comparing to females. When the corporate image spaces were analyzed with respect to educational level or working years, it was not found statistically significant differences in any subspace.
