Secondary administrators profiles, in terms of EU standards and criteria for the evaluation of Turkey

Turkey, attempting to take part in European Union since 1963, has taken important steps in many areas of the road to membership for this purpose. Turkey has also made significant developments in the field of education. There are some examples of these developments, such as; important steps have been recorded on the way to the 2020 strategy of Europan Union and Studying Programme on Education and Teaching towards 2020, obligatory education has been converted to step by step 12 years instead of 8 years, nursery schools have been supported, some parts in course books and materials on sex distinction have been changed, students have the chance to choose their own clothes while coming to school, etc? however, when it is looked at closely, the changes are only in a restricted area. On the other hand, there are not many changes in the management of education. The aim for this research is ; to fix the profiles of the administrator and their assistans in schools in Diyarbakır and its towns,to determine the criterias for appointing directors and compare these criterias with the ones of Europan Union. And, as a result, the aim is to determine the profiles and the problems of administrator, while working with Europan Union, and find solutions.
