Abstract (EN)

This main purpose is training in the courses of the advisors/guide's presentations courses working with special students for education at secondary education level. Its research consists of consultants/guidance teachers working in Science High Schools, High Schools and Science and Art Centers. The sampling was made by examining one province from the region of Turkey (Istanbul, Samsun, Ankara, Izmir, Malatya, Antalya, Gaziantep) using the purposive sample method. These sciences high schools, social sciences high schools produce the sample of 120 science and arts science teachers and counselor/guidance teachers.The data were collected online with the 'Personal Information Form' and 'Vocational Guidance Services Evaluation Questionnaire' prepared by the researcher. SPSS program was used for data analysis.The findings obtained as a result of the research, that the psychological counselors/guidance teachers did not receive adequate training on gifted students in the pre-graduate period, half of the participants had problems with the lack of time in the measurement tools, they carried out their career promotions mainly with vocational seminars, club/arm studies were not actively carried out, they did not contact international organizations. It has been concluded that the rate of education is insufficient, the promotion of future professions should be increased, and the majority of them have problems with time, parent cooperation and physical facilities of the school. In addition, it was concluded that the branch teachers took their opinions into account, applied the measurement tools to the students by targeting various purposes and sharing the results appropriately, adopted the principle of relevance to the student in their profession promotions, conveyed the professions in many aspects, communicated with the institutions at the national level, and considered themselves competent. For this reason, vocational guidance services and requirements necessary for the evaluation of the potential of gifted students have been updated in the curriculum since the undergraduate period and focused on application; It can be transferred through in-service training for psychological counselors/guidance teachers. The research can be repeated in mixed or qualitative type.
