Abstract (EN)
Law and justice courses have been taught in 6th and 7th grades since 2013-2014 academic year and have been taught as an elective course since 2018-2019 academic year. Within the law and Justice course curriculum, it is aimed that students gain knowledge and skills such as developing law and justice awareness and improving legal literacy. The purpose of this research is to find out the perceptions of sixth grade students about law and justice concepts which takes part in Law and Justice courses. For this study Case Science Pattern is going to be used as a gualitative research method. 150 students, studying at 6 th grades of Atatürk Secondary School and Gazi Mustafa Kemal Secondary School located in Çay province of Afyonkarahisar in 2019-2020 academic year take part in workgroup. Law and justice Word Association Test was used as data collection material by the researcher.Descriptive analysis from gualitative data analysis methods was used in the analysis of the data and freguency charts were created tods the derermine the students perceptions of each concept and to reveal the relations between concepts.Concept networks are prepared by making use of frequency charts. Data were analyzed and interpreted according to the relations at concept networks. Within the framework of the results obtained from the research, the students perceptions towards the concepts of low and justice are close to each other. It has been clear that the students have enough knowledge of concepts for creating an awareness about the concepts of law and justice.
