Abstract (EN)

Rapidly developing technology affects many areas such as health, transportation and communication. And an important area affected by technology is education. Using technology in education is essential in the information age. Use of technology attracts students' attention, provides students with motivation and ease in learning. In this way, the overall academic achievement of students is increased by the use of technology. While the field of education is affected by the developing technology, the developments in the field of education affect the technology as well. In other words, the correct use of technology in education and its integration with education will increase the general level of individuals, society and country. The aim of this study is to determine level of teachers' ability to integrate technology into their courses. In this study, "Basic Indicators for Teachers' Technology Integration Scale" developed by Çakıroğlu, Gökoğlu and Çebi (2015) is used as data collection tool. Study group of this research consists of 208 teachers working in the secondary schools in the city center of Kırşehir in the academic year of 2018-2019. The results of the study reveal that teachers have an high level of technology integration. It is found that gender is the variable that creates a statistically significant difference between Basic Indicators for Teachers' Technology Integration. Another result of the study is that regarding the variables of computer experience and professional seniority, there is no statistically significant difference between the indicators.
