Abstract (EN)
In this study, the local names of the plant species used for medicinal and aromatic purposes by the people of Oruçlu, Sarıbudak and Ballıüzüm Villages of the central district of Artvin province between the years 2020-2023, which parts, how and how long, when, how and how long they were collected. It is aimed to determine the information about medicinal plants, whether they are useful or not, what medicinal and aromatic plants are used for when collecting, and whether information should be given to the public about medicinal and aromatic plants. In addition, the study area is located between 300-3224 m altitudes. The research area is located in the A8 square according to Davis's grid system, in the Colchic subsection of the Euxine part of the Euro-Siberian flora area of the Holarctic region. The data were analyzed with the informative consensus (FIC-Factor), the level of validity (FL- fidelity level) factor and the UV-use value factor. A survey was conducted with 55 people in the research area. In the survey, photographs of 122 plant species belonging to 54 families were shown, and as a result of the research, it was determined that 67 plant species belonging to 26 families were used by the local people for medicinal and aromatic purposes. and aromatic purposes. The families that contain the most taxa in the research area are respectively; Rosaceae (19 taxa), Asteraceae (13 taxa), Lamiaceae (12 taxa) families were found. Endemic and non-endemic rare 77 taxa were evaluated according to IUCN hazard categories.
