Controlling and optimizing of autonomous traffic lights

"Autonomous Traffic Light Control and Optimization" has a high importance among the topics that focus on the integration of both vehicle and related traffic systems, which is one of the most important application areas of smart transportation systems and smart urbanism concepts. Operating traffic lights with a fixed timing setup can cause negative consequences in the traffic experience. In this study, it is aimed to make a comparative analysis of the results of image processing technology in different scenarios by giving priority to the road with vehicle density, which triggers the intersection traffic lights with the detection of traffic density, giving it a proactive and dynamic structure.
