Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between spousal support and self-compassion and relational resilience in married couples in a dyadic context. The sample of the study, which was designed in a correlational design, consists of 157 couples determined by using the criterion sampling technique, one of the purposeful sampling methods. Relational Resilience Scale, Self Compassion Scale Short Form and Spouse Support Scale were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, t-test, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation and Regression analysis for the Actor-Partner Interdependent Intermediary Model were used. In the study, two different models were tested in which the actor and partner effects of self-compassion and spousal support variables on the relational resilience of women and men were examined. In the first model tested, it was seen that the increase in the self-compassion scores of the spouses increased their own relational resilience (actor effect), but it did not have a significant effect on the relational resilience of their spouses (partner effect). In the second model, it was concluded that the increase in the spousal support scores of the spouses increases the relational resilience of them (actor effect) and their partners (partner effect). The findings were discussed in the context of the relevant literature and suggestions were made.
