Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the methods of coping with stress and psychological symptoms of individuals in therapy centers. This study is organized in accordance with the "relational screening model". The study included 100 people who received support from therapy centers in Istanbul. Turkish reliability and validity study for determining the attitudes of the participants to cope with stress Ağargün et al. (2015) The COPE scale was used to determine the psychological symptoms and the Turkish Reliability and Validity study, the Short Symptom Screening Inventory conducted by Şahin and Durak (1994). The data obtained with the data collection tools were entered into the computer as a numerical expression and these data were analyzed using the statistical package program (SPSS 25) for social sciences. As a result of the research, a relationship was found between attitudes to cope with stress and psychological symptoms. Again, in the study, it was seen that psychological symptoms and attitudes to cope with stress differ significantly according to demographic variables.
