Abstract (EN)
In this study, the aim of this study is to determine the effects of creating physical distance on university students on seating benches. Parametric design method, computer aided drawing program, physical distance and physical distance free seating benches design and survey study were organized. The survey study was conducted for the students of Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Fine Arts, Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. The interior and exterior spaces of the Faculty of Fine Arts were preferred for the survey. 300 people participated in the survey. In the data obtained, it was observed that they showed a positive approach towards the seating benches designed by parametric design method. In addition, it was found that they preferred the seating bench with a physical distance created due to the pandemic; rather than the seating bench without a physical distance created.
