Abstract (EN)

A hydrogen fuel cell is an important device for renewable energy generation that uses hydrogen (H) and oxygen (O2) to generate electricity through an electrochemical process. In this thesis, heat transfer simulation studies were carried out for bipolar plates, which is one of the key elements used in PEM type fuel cells. The general energy equation of the bipolar plate was converted to MATLAB@Simulink program codes and the heat transfer in the cell was simulated by cooling the left and right bipolar plates of a PEM type fuel cell consisting of several layers.
