Abstract (EN)
In this master's thesis study, Penning ion trap was determined by trap of ions using electric field and magnetic field. Penning traps are used in many laboratories around the world. The Penning trap is used as a mass spectrometer in mass physics to control mass, to control quantum states and to trap the ion. Simbuca simulation program was used for single ions or multiple ions, ion dynamics and other quantities. Buffer gas method was used to cool trapped ions. Helium gas was used as buffer gas from inert gas atoms. Simbuca simulation program and ions before and after the use of buffer gas pressure of the ion dynamics after the use of the ion dynamics were examined. In addition, temperature changes were investigated using 100 coulomb effect for 7Li+1 and 11B+1 ions separately.
