Abstract (EN)

In this study, the substituted phthalonitril (3) was synthesized by the reactions between 4-nitrophthalonitrile and (4-isopropylphenyl)methanol in dry DMF and in the presence of dry potassium carbonate. Metal free phthalocyanine (4) was obtained from these phthalonitrile (3) in dry n-pentanol at reflux temperature. Similarly, the classical method was used for the synthesis of metallophthalocyanines (5-7) over the phthalonitrile (3). The photopysical/photochemical properties and aggregation behaviours of these novel phthalocyanines (5-7) have been also investigated extensively.
