Özet (EN)

The construction sector, which has been growing rapidly in recent years, has also enabled the development of concrete technology. Due to the developing concrete technology and the increasing demands of the sector, it has increased academic studies on composite lightweight concrete. The aim of this thesis is to present the laboratory results of composite lightweight concrete design and properties using Bitlis Pumice and perlite. CEM-I 42,5 N type cement was used as binder and Bitlis Pumice and perlite was used as aggregate in the thesis. However, fly ash, silica fume, blast furnace slag and viscosity modifier and air entraining chemical additives were used to increase the concrete properties. The composite lightweight concrete produced in the laboratory was placed into 100x100x100 mm cubic samples, after 24 hours, it was taken from the molds and cured in 23 ° C water for 3,7,28 and 90 days and subjected to various experiments and interpreted by examining its mechanical and physical properties. According to the data obtained from experimental studies, it is seen that lightweight concrete with perlite has higher thermal insulation and lower strength than lightweight concrete with pumice. It has been observed that from the mineral admixtures, fly ash has a positive effect on strength and silica fume have been improved properties of thermal insulation.
