Semantics of the language of postmodern philosophy: An examination on the sample of Derrida

Radical developments that began to emerge about two centuries ago and abolished gradually the habits of thinking that had prevailed up to that time necessitated the improvement of a new approach that would enable both the comprehension, analyzation and expression of incomplete objects, conceptless and incoherent ideas, ambiguous and senseless statements that appear as the product of the postmodern philosophy which is dated to this time. This thesis study, which discusses the reflections of the relations between being-thought-language on rhetoric and thus seeks a solution to the aforementioned problem, have aimed to create a perspective to explain the issues that determine the essence and the discourse of postmodern philosophy by using Derrida's works as a foundation which were produced with the procedure of déconstruction that is based on the play of différance. Nonetheless, to be able to achieve this goal requires initially a detailed analysis of the matters that led to the collapse of the paradigms that had formed the basis of traditional and modern thought. Therefore, this text, which has been prepared by following comparative method, is a philosophical discourse analysis.
