Abstract (EN)

The relevance of premenstrual period complaints with mood anxiety disorders has a complex pattern. In this direction, the aim of the study is to examine the anxiety levels of the premenstrual and menstrual women and the relationship between mother and child. The research was conducted with working and entrepreneurial members of an association that is active in Mersin. The research was carried out with 49 female members who are working, child bearing and in fertile age, selected by sampling method. Questionnaire form is utilized during the collection of the data in this study. Demographic Information Form, Premenstrual Syndrome Scale, Beck Anxiety Scale and Child-Parent Relationship Scale were administered to participants. As a result of the analyzes, high positive correlation was defined between anxiety and premenstrual syndrome in the premenstrual period. However, premenstrual syndrome and PMS-child relationship have a weak, positive relationship in the premenstrual period. In addition, the difference was significant between premenstrual anxiety level and monthly income level.
