Abstract (EN)

Laparoscopic donor nephrectomy was first performed on pigs in 1994, and then in 1995 on humans. The live donor donor nephrectomy method provides excellent results on live donor kidney recipients. Alprazolam is a moderately effective benzodiazepine derivative; used in the treatment of generalized anxiety, short-term anxiety and anxiety-related depression, panic disorders associated. The aim of our study is to evaluate the effect of different doses of alprazolam as adjuvant analgesic in laparoscopic donor nephrectomy cases which was performed in Akdeniz University Organ Transplant Center. Between January 2017 and November 2017, 173 cases underwent laparoscopic donor nephrectomy at the Akdeniz University Organ Transplant Clinic, were retrospectively reviewed. The cases were evaluated in three different groups. Age, gender, vital signs were examined in preoperative period and there were found to be no significant differences (age p=0,367; gender p=0,353; temp. p=0,25; pulse p=0,41; BP (systole/diastole) p=0,81/0,32). Average value of the operation time was 137.8 ± 43 min. VPS score was 4.8 ± 0.7 in Group 1; 4.4 ± 0.8 in Group 2; Group 3 had 4,8 ± 1; the NPS score was 7.7 ± 1.3 in Group 1; 7.4 ± 1.3 in Group 2; In group 3, it was found to be 7,8 ± 1,7. Administration of the analgesics for the first time average value was 79.1 ± 87.7 min. It was determined that 25 of the 75 cases were given additional doses of analgesics. In patients undergoing laparoscopic donor nephrectomy it is necessary to determine more effective and different analgesia protocols for pain control. It is also believed that a more efficient provision of pain control may result in an increase in the number of living kidney donors.
