Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of proactive personality and individual innovation on entrepreneurship tendency. The sampling of the research consists of the students who study at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Pharmacy, School of Physical Education and Sports, and Vocational High School of the Agri Ibrahim Cecen University and taking entrepreneurial course. Data were collected from a total of 357 students using the face to face survey method in the study. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 22.0 Package Program. As a result of the regression analysis, it was concluded that proactive personality had a significant and positive effect on self-confidence, innovation, the need of success, locus of control and risk-taking dimensions that constitute entrepreneurial tendency. On the other hand, on tolerance against uncertainty, which is another dimension of entrepreneurial tendency, no effect of proactive personality has been detected. It was concluded that individual innovation, another independent variable of the research, had a significant and positive effect on self-confidence, innovation, the need of success, locus of control and risk-taking dimensions, while there was a significant and negative effect on uncertainty tolerance dimension.
